The BGP-1 uses a double fluid bed system fed from a single high shear granulator. Rapid output of the granulator discharges product through the portable mill. The product is then diverted by a flap valve allowing one bed to be charged while the other unit is in drying operation. This operation provides high throughput rates in a semi-continuous processor which retains batch identity.

The Gublair fluid bed systems are easily sized to fit exact manufacturing requirements. It’s specifications are easily developed for any application large or small.

The fluid bed processors use interchangeable conical bowls with sight glass and a sample thief which allow for optimal product monitoring. It’s capabilities include top spray granulation with optional wurster coating, integrated variable speed peristaltic liquid addition pump, a variable speed fan, and optional electric steam generator module. It has filter options of cartridge, cloth, gortex, and stainless steel.

Our equipment is run from a computer controlled touch screen and during the fluid bed processing it monitors inlet and outlet temperature, product temperature, outlet humidity, optional spray rate integration using loss-of-weight, volumetric air flow rate, and pressure differential.
